The CONDADO DO TEA area is on the right bank of the river Miño from Salvaterra to the borderline with the Province of Ourense. It includes the municipalities of Salvaterra do Miño, As Neves, Arbo, Crecente, Salceda de Caselas, Ponteareas, the parish of Valeixe in the municipality of A Cañixa, the parishes Guillarei, Malvás, Baldráns and Caldelas de Tui in the municipality of Tui and the parish of Louredo in the municipality of Mos.

Tui is on a small hill and is full of narrow lanes and streets. It was one of the seven capitals of the ancient Kingdom of Galicia and many noble houses and palaces were built here. Its old urban centre has been declared an area of monumental interest. It has interesting churches and an important Cathedral, built between the 12th and 13th century, which combines Romanesque and Gothic style. In the Spa of Caldelas de Tui the water flowing from the spring is at 50ºC of temperature.

Salvaterra do Miño is an old village with archaeological remains, like an acropolis and noble houses. On the mouth of the river Tea we can find the medieval bridge of Fillaboa. From Mount Castelo we can behold a beautiful view of the Valley of the River Tea. We also recommend you to visit the remains of the fortress of Salvaterra, where the "Museum of Regional Wines" has been built, the Pazo de Petán (with a shield and a tower from the 16th century) and the Pazo de la Inquisición, an old building that pertained to the Inquisition.

As Neves has a beautiful historical centre. Its church (from 1668) is a sanctuary in worship of the Virgin of the Snows. From the chapel of San Nomedio (694 metres) we can behold a spectacular view of the valleys of the rivers Tea and Miño. The chapel of San Fins (670 metres) is another excellent viewpoint over the river Miño.

In Arbo we can find a triple stone cross, which is called cruceiro in Galician, and an original Celt tower in the same parish. We recommend you to visit the tower and ruins of Fornelos (from the 12th century) and the Pazo de Barreiro (16th century), the Romanesque apse of the Church of San Pedro de Crescentes (13th century) and the chapel and remains of the Monastery of Albeos.
